The 2021 Hennessey Venom F5 entered production in 2020, just three years after the company, Hennessey Special Vehicles, was established. At $1.8 million per car, it’s an astonishing achievement, named after the F5 rating on the Fujita scale, which signifies incredibly high wind speeds. The Venom F5 has a top speed of 219 mph, and in July 2024, it broke the standing half-mile record in Florida by reaching that speed in just 14.44 seconds!

The GB110 was the first in a series of limited edition vehicles by Bertone, with only 33 hypercars manufactured for 2024 release. It’s majestic to look at, created primarily with carbon fiber materials to achieve a sleek yet minimalistic aesthetic. It also runs like a dream, with a top speed of 236 mph.
Other great features of the Bertone GB110 include its seven-speed gearbox, strong acceleration, and double-wishbone suspension. It certainly made a huge impression when it was presented to the public and the Prince of Monaco in 2024.

After a low period, Lotus made a ferocious comeback to the motor vehicle industry, which included beginning production on the 2024 Lotus Evija. If you’re looking for a race car, the Delage D12 certainly looks the part! This makes sense because the concept was inspired by Formula 1, honoring Delage’s history as a track car manufacturer. The result was a street-legal sports car with a frontal crash box, single-seat interior, and active aerodynamic features to provide optimal downforce. The short body, small wraparound windscreen, and oversized wheels ensure that nobody could mistake the racing inspiration behind the car.
It lives up to F1 speeds, too, with a maximum speed of 233 mph, made possible by the incredible 7.6-liter V12 engine and electric motor. It is light, quick to accelerate, and has ultra-specific handling.

The Rimac Nevera 2022 was only the second vehicle manufactured by Rimac Automobili, but it was a roaring success. Rimac produced 150 of the model, each with a massive $2.4 million price tag, and began delivering them to the US in 2023. It broke several records for the fastest production EV car at different events. The Nevera’s top speed is a whopping 256 mph, which led to many outlets declaring it the “fastest EV in the world”.
It has impressive control, even at its highest speed, with an all-electrified drive train and a unique design, with unconventional butterfly doors and a sleek fragmented design. Even Jennifer Lopez has praised this expensive EV!
#17. Pagani Utopia 2023 ($2.5 Million)
The 2023 Pagani Utopia is aptly named, with its utopian innovation and incredible incorporation of modern technologies. It’s a more than worthy successor to the brand’s Huayra model, perfectly encapsulating what a supercar should be. It has a lightweight powertrain and Carbo-Titanium structure, increasing its durability and momentum. The original Lamborghini Countach helped redefine modern sports cars, and the 2022 Countach LPI 800-4 pays perfect tribute to that legacy. It’s a limited edition hybrid supercar with a futuristic design that only 112 lucky buyers would ever get to own. Its unique shape is almost jarringly hypermodern, with scissor doors, metallic trims, and a wide, longitudinal rear. The interior is similarly contemporary, blending bright red upholstery with black accents to truly make the design pop.

McLaren has made some incredible vehicles, but the 2020 Speedtail absolutely takes the crown for most admirable. The Jesko is an absolute marvel and the fastest car Koenigsegg has ever produced. It so thoroughly impressed spectators at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show that all units were sold out before the show even ended!
#12. Aspark Owl 2021 ($3.1 Million)
Aspark Co. is known for its impressively innovative electric vehicles, but the Owl is on a whole new level. The company’s goal when manufacturing it was to design the fastest-accelerating electric car, and they achieved that by getting it to go from zero to 60 mph in just 1.69 seconds! It’s also incredible to look at, with its carbon fiber monocoque bodywork, sloping roof, and butterfly doors. Its strength and endurance make it perfect for driving at top speeds.

#10. Koenigsegg Regera 2021 ($3.7 Million)
There’s a reason Koenigsegg has made so many high-performance and highly-priced cars: they’re excellent at what they do. The 2021 Regera only further proves this. It’s a powerful production car with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine and three electric motors, plus a maximum speed of 249 mph. It has plenty of innovative features to justify its cost, like the power windows, detachable roof, hydraulic lifting system, double-wishbone suspension, and ventilated brakes. It’s also the world’s first ‘Autoskin’, with fully-automated body closures.
Koenigsegg worked tirelessly on this magnificent car for six years, unveiling the concept in 2015 and selling all 85 models by June 2017. In fact, most of the units sold during the unveiling, before production began.
#9. Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 2021 ($3.7 Million)
The 2021 Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 is a breathtaking car with an even more breathtaking price tag! It was Lamborghini's first hybrid production car, with 63 coupes and 19 roadsters manufactured, all of which were sold before production ended. With its sleek, aerodynamic bodywork and luxurious electric gold color, it’s easy to see why buyers were so eager to snag a Sian. The design is incredibly sculpted and features a fashionable open-top roof for additional sophistication.
The car is fitted with an excellent V12 engine and a 48-volt electric motor, enabling it to drive smoothly and at high speeds. It’s capable of much more than cruising, with a top speed of 221 mph!
#8. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ 2022 ($3.9 Million)
The 2022 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ has more than earned its “supercar” status, with a super-sized price to match! It’s named the 300+ because it was the first production car to breach the 300 mph barrier, with a top speed of 304.773 mph, which is a world record. Its incredible speed is due to several racing components: the 8.0-liter W16 engine, a reconfigured tailpipe to minimize drag, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Bugatti successfully modified its original Chiron, which also impressed buyers. The result was something even faster and more expensive. Eager buyers quickly snapped up all 30 examples after the Super Sport 300+ was unveiled.

Ferrari ferociously breached the $4 million price tag with the 2022 LaFerrari, with 499 coupes sold out during production. LaFerrari uses innovative technical solutions to revolutionize the brand’s designs, particularly the kinetic hybrid recovery system that works alongside the V12 engine to maximize performance. It can reach 217 mph at maximum speed. It also looks ultra-expensive, with a carbon fiber tub chassis, a hand-laminated body, and an eye-catching bright red design.
The LaFerrari was a trailblazer for the brand, with many experts praising its powerful engine, with 950 horsepower, as being the “beating heart” of the design. It perfectly balanced key aspects of road and race cars.
#6. Pagani Huayra Imola 2020 ($5.4 Million)
Every inch of the 2020 Pagani Huayra Imola is like no car we’ve ever seen before. Unfortunately, they’re one of the rarest cars in the world, with only five in existence! It was tested and fine-tuned on the Italian Imola Circuit, hence its name, and it’s a fine track car with a top speed of 222 mph. The V12 bi-turbo engine produces 816 horsepower, and the 7-spoke APP forged staggered wheels provide excellent grip and balance.
The exterior is spectacular, with a scoop roof, shark fin, exaggerated side skirts, a broad rear, and fragmented, aerodynamic bodywork. The interior is also futuristic, with a black and orange design, exposed gear shift linkage, and track-approved bucket seats.
#5. Bugatti Divo 2021 ($5.8 Million)
Despite already being a huge name in sports car manufacturing, Bugatti took things to the next level with its hypermodern, futuristic Divo, released in 2021. It was created to compete with the brand’s other sports cars, and it features a redesigned exhaust system, refined rear wings, and improved radiator and brake cooling systems. The entire design is track-focused, with Alcantara upholstery and carbon-fiber trim, keeping the body as lightweight as possible. The engine is a quad-turbocharged W16, providing plenty of power.
Bugatti limited the production of the Divo to 40 examples, all of which were pre-sold before its public unveiling. The Divo was produced alongside the Chiron, aiding in Bugatti’s massive financial success at the time.
#4. Pagani Codalunga 2022 ($7.4 Million)
The 2022 Pagani Codalunga transcends time in two ways: it references the classic, coachbuilt designs of 1960s automotives but puts a futuristic spin on them. It’s a gorgeous vehicle, but, as with the Imola, Pagani only developed five of the Codalunga, each personalized for the buyer. The bodywork is classy, with a long, flowing body, clean lines, and elegantly sculpted front and rear. The interior balances two eras, with traditional cushioned leather upholstery and a busy, technological center console.
Thanks to a special commission by two Pagani collectors, the Codalunga remains the most exclusive and expensive Pagani ever built. It is powerful, with a max speed of 217 mph, but it also looks great for cruising.
#3. Bugatti Centodieci 2023 ($10 Million)
Bugatti had no trouble breaking into double figures in 2023 with their magnificent $10 million Centodieci. However, some superfans of the brand may have felt that price was too low, with one selling for an estimated $16 million in a 2024 auction! It was first revealed at “The Quail- A Motorsports Gathering” in 2019, paying homage to classic Bugattis in honor of the company’s 110th birthday. Only ten Centodiecis were manufactured, with powerful features including a quad-turbocharged W16 engine and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Roaring along at a top speed of 240 mph, the Centodieci looks phenomenal. It has sharp front grooves, matt-black exhaust pipes, eight tail lights, an overhanging rear wing, and a horseshoe radiator grille.
#2. Rolls Royce Boat Tail 2021 ($28 Million)
Everybody knows that there’s nothing cheap about a Rolls-Royce, but a $28 million car is beyond what most can imagine! In 2021, the brand released the Boat Tail, which became the world’s most expensive street-legal production car. Its luxurious design is inspired by expensive yachts, with a tapered rear end for emphasis. The Boat Tail was manufactured by the company’s coachbuild division, ensuring masterfully crafted features, including 1,813 bespoke chassis and engine parts!
But here’s the catch: only one Boat Tail was ever produced! Engineers spent 20 years planning its pre-production, and the result was a vehicle drenched in luxury, including a deployable parasol, rotating cocktail tables, and two fridges!
#1. Rolls Royce La Rose Noire Droptail 2023 ($30 Million)
Most of us can only dream of having $30 million, let alone spending it on a car! But the 2023 Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail is nothing short of spectacular. It was created through a collaboration between the brand’s Coachbuild program and very wealthy clients. The car has a luxurious deep red and black exterior and an interior constructed out of 1,603 pieces of black sycamore wood shaped like rose petals. The car has a classy rounded shape, an open top, and the brand’s signature front grille.
Only four La Rose Noire Droptails were ever manufactured, each customized for the client. At $30 million, it remains the most expensive car in the world, and it’s truly in a class of its own.
